At Fineco AM, we believe that safeguarding economic, environmental, and social principles is a prerequisite for a healthy economy and as such it is our responsibility to deliver attractive returns by supporting international norms and being a responsible investor. As a responsible global investor and steward of billions of Euro worth of assets on behalf of our clients, the most significant difference we can make is through our actions and our investments decisions. Therefore, Fineco AM has made a commitment to manage its funds in a responsible manner. We believe that Responsible Investing means integrating ESG risks and factors in our business activities, identifying sustainable outcomes and where deemed appropriate, taking actions to promote same.

Fineco AM is a signatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (“PRI”) since October 2020 and are thus committed to integrating ESG factors into our investment analysis, decision making processes, and active ownership practices. We have developed policies, procedures and investment products to support our commitment.
United Nations Global Compact
Fineco AM has been a participant of the United Nations Global Compact since 13 March 2022 and has decided to align its strategies and operations with the universal principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
UN PRI Advance
The Principles for Responsible Investment has launched Advance – a stewardship initiative for investors to take action on human rights and social issues. Fineco AM is proud to be participating in the initiative as a Lead Investor.
Climate Action 100+
Climate Action 100+ is an investor-led initiative, comprised of over 700 investors, to ensure the world’s largest corporate greenhouse gas emitters take necessary action on climate change. Fineco AM is proud to be participating in the initiative as a Collaborating Investor. The work of the initiative is coordinated by AIGCC, Ceres, IGCC, IIGCC and PRI.
Funds Industry Climate Challenge
As part of Fineco AM’s ongoing commitment to the promotion of sustainability, we will be participating in the “Funds Industry Climate Challenge” for the second year running. The aim of the challenge is to create awareness, strengthen industry relationships and guide action towards reducing CO2 emissions. This is a two-week challenge organised by “The Green Team Network” for the investment fund and asset management industry. It will run from 22 April to 6 May 2024.

This statement describes how our remuneration polices are consistent with the integration of sustainability risks, as per Article 5 of the SFDR. In Fineco AM, sustainability risks are not only integrated into our investment decisions, but also a natural part of our remuneration models to cater for commitment and engagement in sustainability among our employees.
In order to align our investments with our responsible investment approach, certain exclusion criteria are applied. Our Exclusion Policy outlines the various exclusions applied, the products to which the exclusions apply, and the extent to which they apply.
We commit to making investments in companies which govern their business in a manner that promotes sound management of ESG risks and promotes value creation for shareholders and stakeholders.
