The Role

We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to join our Investment team to oversee our benchmark-relative active fundamental equity strategies (US, Europe and Global).This person will be expected to demonstrate senior presence both internally, via portfolio oversight and research, and externally, via face-to-face meetings and presentations. This role will report to the Deputy Chief Investment Officer.

What You’ll Do:

  • Management of cash equity portfolios including monitoring and placing/approving trades.
  • Providing analytical research and investment ideas.
  • Lead meetings with clients, consultants, and prospects to communicate and explain portfolio performance, positioning, and FAM investment process.
  • Answer ad-hoc inquiries from clients, consultants, and prospects.
  • Participate in internal investment policy discussions and decisions.

We’re Looking for Teammates With:

  • MBA or CFA holders, with distinguished academic record in economics, finance, mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, or similar discipline; or a minimum of 7 years’ professional experience.
  • Minimum 7 – 12 years’ professional experience in equity investments, with deep knowledge of global equity markets
  • Experience in managing risk and selecting sustainable investments.
  • Ability to conduct meetings with clients and prospects.
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Structured Product Solutions, you will join an analytical, engaging, and collaborative investment team. Main focus of this role will be the launch of new Structured Funds together with their  day to day management .

Ideally looking for a self-starter, independent profile  who enjoys building positive  working relationships and looking to make a difference in a busy but flexible and supportive working environment. Opportunity to grow into the role and future progression. We are currently looking into the option of implementing a long-term hybrid working style, with the potential to work from home for a percentage of the time.

 

  • Helping in structuring of new fund’s ideas.
  • Detailed analysis and product back testing (including derivative pricing MTM back-test, sensitivities etc.).
  • Identifying best payoff profile given prevailing market conditions at the time of launch (considering correlations between underlying assets, MTM, and final payoff – “value for money” considerations in entering a given payoff profile etc.)
  • Internal and External coordination of the fund launches process.
  • Building and implementation of trades : Weekly reset on Passives Funds and Structured Fund’s operations.
  • Working with other teams to help with the collation and preparation of documentation for fund launches, investment committees and board meetings
  • Help with monthly reporting tasks when required, positioning, performance etc
  • Contribute to improvement and making of the  processes more efficient when needed.

 

Profile/Skills:

  • 7-10 years+ experience in the investment management industry would be a plus, in particular in the Structured Products space or as a Derivatives Trader.
  • Mathematics or Financial Engineering Degree would be preferable.
  • Excellent analytical and learning skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL and Visual Basic would be seen as favourable.
  • Good knowledge of Derivatives (previous experience in pricing derivatives, simulating MTM over the life of the product and sensitivities would be seen as favourable).
  • Someone who is passionate and knowledgeable about financial markets and investments
  • Be a self-starter who is able to take initiative and operate successfully on an independent basis.

Overview:

FAM are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping FAM competitive and innovative. He/She will be responsible for engaging with financial advisors and investment managers and promoting FAM services.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining fast-growing PFA network and customer relationships by identifying customer’s need and offering customised FAM investment solutions based on in-depth knowledge of products and services;
  • Managing the relationship with the Finecobank Financial Advisor network. Maintain engagement with the network through regular communication, performance reporting, targeted events and feedback sessions;
  • Partnering with other functions and roles within the organisation to drive commercial materials (e.g videos, brochures, events);
  • Collaborating in collecting and creating competitive landscape scenarios;
  • Keeping up to date on financial markets, market trends, economic indicators, investment concepts and strategies, and the universe of daring products in the investment/consumer financial industry;
  • Liaising with Marketing to ensure a consistent, professional, timely production of Marketing Materials and promotional activity and with Compliance function;
  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets;
  • Contribute to the designing and implementing of a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and satisfying the needs of individual PFA’s;

We are looking to recruit a trainee student/recently graduated/one or two years of asset management or fund experience Compliance person, reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer (DP for Regulatory and Compliance) to support the continuous growth of the Company.


The role:

• Knowledge of fitness and probity requirements and completing relevant searches.
• Research upstream regulatory items and keeping the regulatory tracker up to date.
• Assisting with the management of policies and procedures.
• Following up on queries in relation to AML/KYC/UBO.

We are currently hiring for a new position within our Operations team.

Our Operations team is responsible for monitoring the timeliness, completeness and accuracy of the transaction reporting under EMIR, SFTR, etc. Primary responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of the company’s EMIR reconciliation programme.

Review of reconciliation exceptions pertaining to trade/transaction data submitted to trade repositories. Investigating reconciliation exceptions internally and with third parties as necessary to ensure that transactions have been reported timely, accurately and completely to trade repositories. This will involve applying strong problem-solving skills to assist in the identification and remediation of reporting exceptions. The successful candidate will have the benefit of exposure across our portfolio management team as well as liaising with our compliance, and wider business groups.

This is a potential opportunity for candidates coming from a regulatory reporting team of an administrator or asset manager to join us as our regulatory reporting SME in this brand-new role.

As a member of a small operations team with broad-based responsibilities, there will also be an expectation to assist with other duties as necessary.

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

 

Experience

• 3 + years’ experience in a regulatory reporting role within the investment industry (i.e.. within a fund administrator or an asset manager).

• A demonstrable knowledge of EMIR Transaction Reporting.

• Previous knowledge and experience in exchange traded and OTC derivatives, DTCC or Markit wire.

• Middle office experience would be advantageous.

• Intermediate to advanced Excel would be advantageous.

• Degree in accounting, finance or technology related field.

FAM are looking for a dedicated and organized Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dublin.

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales and client servicing efforts of our Distribution Division.

This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to prepare presentations, pitch books, and other sales materials for client meetings.
