Fineco Asset Management DAC (‘Fineco AM’) is the Dublin based asset management company and subsidiary of FinecoBank S.p.A. (“FinecoBank”). Currently Fineco AM manages 3 UCITS Umbrella Funds – in Luxembourg (1 fund) and in Ireland (2 funds).

Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage the internal NAV oversight process for monitoring delegate fund administrators on daily, weekly and monthly NAVs.
• Monitor expected performance of funds versus performance produced by fund accounting teams.
• Develop and maintain exceptions reporting around cash breaks, position breaks, pricing, trade settlements, accruals, fund flows.
• Review reconciliations between counterparties, custodians and administrators, co-ordinating investigations among different outsourced service providers.
• Be the first point of contact with the investment managers, in relation to outstanding issues as they arise, including trade settlements and cash flows.
• Be the first point of contact with custodian and the fund administrator, in relation to outstanding matters regarding settlements, dividend distributions and other corporate actions.
• Review the computation of the Ongoing Charges of the Fund Administrators, providing periodic Budget, Budget updates and reviewing the actual numbers with expectations, explaining main variations.
• Support overall delegate/outsourced service oversight programme in accordance with company’s internal policies and procedures.
• Liaise with tax advisors/Administrator/asset managers to ensure proper and timely WHT filing/CGT rate applied and rebates reclaimed.
• Collect, review and validate fund expense fees including administration, custody, other fund service providers whilst ensuring they are in line with our funds’ General Expense Budgets; manage communications with investment managers and service providers to ensure timely and accurate payment.

Key Requirements:
• Third level qualification in Accountancy, Finance or a Business discipline.
• 3-5 yrs experience in a relevant Fund Accounting/Investment Operations/Middle Office/Custody role.
• Good knowledge of financial products and financial markets.
• Prior experience of derivatives and Swap OTCs an advantage.
• Strong planning, problem solving skills.
• Experience in project management.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Very good working knowledge of excel.
• Ability to work on own initiative and to meet deadlines.
• Be enthusiastic and eager to learn, self-starter.

Main Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated professional, who is goal-oriented and with high problem solving skills. The responsibilities listed above are expected to change as the company evolves. To be successful you will need to be proactive and able to work in a dynamic environment where flexibility is key and ongoing learning are required. The Operational Risk Analyst will be involved in maintaining and updating the operational risk management framework of the Company with focus across Risk & Control Assessments, Delegate & Outsourcing oversight & control, Operational Risk Metrics, Business Continuity Management, and Operational Risk Incident response. The ideal candidate will have a background in operational risk in asset management but candidates from other relevant backgrounds may be considered. The successful candidate will also assist in preparing reporting for the Designated Person for Operational Risk Management (PCF 39B).


Operational Risk
• Assist the Operational Risk Manager in identification and assessment of operational risk inherent in all material products, activities, processes and systems, including as part of the risk & control self-assessment process.
• Support in preparation of the report to the Board of Directors on all material aspects of operational risk for Designated person for Operational Risk Management (PCF-39B).
• Establishment and implementation of processes to regularly monitor Operational Risk profiles and material exposures to losses, including development of relevant metrics.
• Help build and monitor Key Risk Indicators, escalating changes to the risk profile to risk owners including breaches of risk appetite limits, and identifying remedial strategies to bring exposures within tolerance.
• Ongoing development of strategies, policies, processes and procedures to control and/or mitigate material operational risks.
• Ongoing development of the operational risk event response framework, including root cause analysis and remediation tracking.
• Oversight of operational risks related to delegated and outsourced activities within the firm.
• Participate in firmwide projects to identify, assess and manage operational risks related to delivery of the business model.


Governance
• Assist in building out committee reporting to inform and enhance management’s decision making including review of the agenda, compiling and delivering content and preparation of minutes.
• Assisting in the preparation of the risk appetite to the Board of Directors.
• Regular reporting to the CEO, the Board of Director’s and to the Fineco Bank CRO Function as necessary.
• Acknowledge the regulations of Fineco Bank, ensuring the local implementation through internal processes and policies.


Skills
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Economics/Finance/Mathematics etc.
• 2-3 years of risk management experience, preferably gained in an asset management context.
• Knowledge of UCITS regulations (advantageous).
• Knowledge of OR industry best practice and regulatory standards.
• Results driven and hard working.
• Strong technical and analytical skills; professionally sceptical.
• Demonstrate strong ability to write clearly and concisely.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Professional certifications such as FRM, PRMIA, CFA will be considered a plus.

The Quant Assistant Portfolio Manager’s duties will include but will not be limited to the following:

The Opportunity
We are looking to recruit a new Sys Admin/Dev Ops to join our IT Team. This role will report into the Head of IT. This is a new role and reduce support from external partners to ensure full ownership accountability of responsibilities for environment management, availability and security internally. The role reports to Head of IT and has the support of an internal IT Support resource. The person will be responsible for the support and operations of IT services, including management of cyber security threats.
Please note: This is a one-year fixed term contract.


Responsibilities
• Systems Administration and Maintenance of a variety of cloud-based systems.
• Contribute to and maintain system standards in accordance with group policies.
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
• Firewall and switch management
• Implement and oversee backup / availability strategies.
• Repair and recover from hardware or software or virtual infrastructure failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted parties.
• Develop and deploy scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure using Azure DevOps, Azure Resource Manager, and Azure CLI.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Azure Functions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Ensure security and compliance of cloud resources using Intune, Azure Security Centre, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud and Azure Key Vault.
• Collaborate with software developers and end users to ensure quality and performance of applications.
• Incident Management. Analyse, solve, and correct issues in real time.
• Assist with infosec audits.
• Work with 3rd party support and service providers.


Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in sys admin, devops, cloud computing, or software development.
• 3+ years of experience working knowledge of Microsoft Azure
• Proficient in Azure cloud services, such as Azure App Service, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Event Grid. Experience with Snowflake is an advantage.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Strong working knowledge of container-based infrastructure on Azure (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, etc.)
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, such as encryption, authentication, authorization, and auditing.
• Excellent written and spoken communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• 3 – 5 years of technical experience as a systems administrator.

The Opportunity
We are looking to recruit a (Junior) Legal Counsel to join our Legal Team. This role will report into the Head of Legal.

Main Responsibilities:
• Legislation and regulation – Follow-up, analysis and implementation of new legislation or regulatory requirements impacting Fineco AM and the funds under management (e.g. UCITS, AIFMD, MiFID II, EMIR, SFDR, CP86, Outsourcing Requirements etc).
• Fund approvals/amendments – Complete Central Bank and CSSF applications for new sub-funds and manage all post authorisation fund amendments with the Central Bank or the CSSF. Generally, assist with Fineco AM’s product development right from idea stage through to fully managing the new product approval process with the regulator and internal and external stakeholders.
• Fund Documentation – Draft and maintain fund and management company documents (e.g. Prospectus, Supplements, KIIDs and Business Plan) and other ancillary documents related to the investment funds under management.
• Contracts – Draft and review a range of commercial contracts impacting the management company and the funds under management (such as IMAs with third party managers, investment advisory agreements, licensing agreements etc.);
• Transactional Documentation: Draft and review fund transactional documentation such as ISDA Agreements, transaction confirmations, ISDA amendment agreements, give-up agreements etc.
• Legal advice – Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice on issues that arise for Fineco AM in the context of its Irish and Luxembourg fund umbrellas and in respect of Fineco AM’s own management company governance requirements.
• Projects – Participation in ad-hoc regulatory and business projects.
• Board and Fineco AM committee preparation – Assist internal stakeholders and the Company Secretary in respect of preparing and organising quarterly board meetings and product committee meetings; and
• Represent Fineco AM – Represent Fineco AM at external conferences, industry events or fund association events.

Key Requirements:
• Qualified Irish Solicitor or a solicitor with equivalent qualification in another jurisdiction with 3 years’ post qualification experience (gained working in Ireland specifically).
• Previous experience in investment funds is essential, with a demonstratable background in the understanding of investment strategies and subsequent drafting of fund product documentation.
• Highly motivated, pragmatic, solutions-oriented and a real business partner.
• Ability to conduct a thorough legal analysis of complex topics and translate this analysis into practical and succinct legal advice.
• Commitment to high standards and forensic attention detail.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to liaise with top management and other stakeholders.
